Everest Base Camp Trek - 16 Days

” Everest Base Camp” even the name is enough to know. This is not only popular.But every one’s lifetime dream place to visit. Since the first climbed by Sir Edmund  Hillary and Tenzing Sherpa on 29 May , 1953, The highest mountain Everest is well known among the world. It is a little challenge but easier then everyone’s  expect to get only base camp. Anyway lodges are enough comfortable in this altitude. The trail to be there is full of exited with a lots of Buddhist pilgrims , Local Sherpa people culture and view of crystal mountains along the way. Sagarmatha national park provide you to see green forests, wild animals , clean rivers, natural beauties as extra bonus on this trek. Everest Base Camp (5364 m) is the major attraction for the travellers. The another attraction is Kalapathar (5545m). Actually from base camp is not for Everest view. It is just for official place. Kalapathar is the most popular to see close Everest view just above your head. But it’s a challenge to get.

Day 1
Day 01 - Arrive in Kathmandu (1350 m.).

Welcome to Nepal. You will pick up by our official staff at airport by warm just out side at normal waiting place and then transfer to Hotel at Thamel. Then after your freshness will meet again. Evening you will have dinner with your trekking guide.There will be more information of trekking by your guide. Also you will have chance to recognise your guide internally.

Day 2
Day 02 - Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) - 3 hours

Very early morning should be at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla (2,800 m). You have have little wait there with tea/coffee break for final arranging. Then trek towards Phakding (2,610 m) aprox 3 hours to walk. A easy firstday walking.

Day 3
Namche (3440m)

Well, the 2nd day start with easy walk about 3 hours. The trail from Phakding to Larcha doven is physically easy to walk. Anyway at the first check post of Sagarmatha National park, Monju, probably will stock for an hour just to get national park permit. So just after the Monju check post you should have lunch break at Jorsalle. After Jorsalle there is not tea shops and lunch places till Namche Bazar. Then the Jorsalle lunch break just arroud 30 minutes later ,You will see twin bridges before heading up. From the place to get Namche will need 3 hours more. Topdanda is the first Everest view point arround the middle of way up. If weather still favour you then you will get first view of Everest. Then the evening will have walk in market.

Day 4
Namche Bazar(3440m /Khumjung village 3800m

You can walk up to Khumjung village for acclimitisation . As well you can stay in khumjung too. Only the Khumjung is real and the biggest village on the trail. We recommend you to stay Khumjung over night .

Day 5
Tengboche(3880)/ Pangboche(3900)

Trek down to Phunki tenga and take lunch break . After the lunch there is heavy going up for 2/ 2:30 hours to get Tengbohe monastery . You can visit Monastery in 30 minutes and continue walk to Pangboche (3900m). Which is much comfortable to stay. Not much crowded .

Day 6

Trek to Dingboche just for 3 /4 hours. And Dingboche is little big village at this hight. Just after lunch you do walk up at least for 1 hour for your good acclimatise.

Day 7
Acclimatization / Exploration day

Hike to Chukhung village (4700m.). That is nice and easy walk even for acclimatise and good view of beautiful Mt. Ama Dablam and many more.

Day 8

The day you should walk very slow because of High altitude and lack of oxygen . So drink a lot water. Take lunch break at Thukla(4600m). Then after lunch small but challenge up for 1 / 1:30 hours to get memory park of death people , who had encouraged to climb the Mt. Everest and failed . Well from the memory park left is easy to walk to Labuche(4900m)

Day 9
Gorakshep(5163m)/ EBC(5364m)

Well the day is one of the most highlight days of whole trip. Just after 4 hours walk you will get the place Gorakshep(5163m) to sleep . And Then after your reserved then take quick lunch and head to EBC (5364m , official measured ). Then after huge success then back to Gorekshep.

Day 10
Pangboche(3000m)/ Pheriche(4243m)

Gorakshep, Kalapathar and down to Feriche/ Pangboche

Still there is some more highlight way of EBC trek. So very early morning walk up to Kalapathar for excellent sunrise above the highest point of world . Everest summit is just above your head. And after another successive walk up. Come down to Gorekshep and have breakfast , then after breakfast walk down till evening . Doesn’t matter of long distance .

Day 11

Ok congratulation to all you. And the left way you can take little shorter than yesterday . But another trail would be much better . So the phorche is another beautiful village to spend .

Day 12
Namche Bazar and get down Jorsalle

From Phortse walk down phortse tenga and walk up to Mong la (1:30) . And walk to Namche and have lunch break. After lunch you can have another 1/2 hours in Namche as you like. Then walk down to Jorsalle (2900m)

Day 13

All the way you already know the trail. You anyway do little early . Your guide needs to reconfirm your air ticket . Evening celebrate as you like. Arrange your helper staff final good bye with thanks .

Day 14
Fly to Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu. Car will pick up you to Thamel. Fairwell dinner in evening with official staff for your feedback.

Day 15
Freeday in Kathmandu

Kathmandu ( Sight seeing ) /departure . This is the free day if in case you couldn’t fly from Lukla . So you can have this day as you like. Ask for farther management .

Day 16
International Departure

You will drop by private car/taxi to airport. Our official staff will be at airport to say bye.
