Ghorepani- Khopra Trek - 13 Days

Arrival in Kathmandu. We will pick up you from Airport to hotel.Evening will be meeting in office.Introduction with guide Welcome dinner and trekking information by guide.

Drive to Pokhara by standard tourist bus. Tourist bus will take about 7-8 hours to get Pokhara Evening can make boating. And Guide will let you know the next day program.

Well here we start to our journey to Mountain. So today we take Taxi/private vehicle from Pokhara to Nayapul about 1;30 hours, then we do start to wlak through the Modi river to Syauli Bazar. Here probably will be lunch break and walk up about 1;30 hours. Then also we need to walk gradual up trail via Ghandruk Village to Komrong. Total walking time will be aprox 6/7 hours.

This day probably the most difficult day of whole trip. This day is just going up mostly. Mostly the trail goes inside the deep forest. This trail is less crowed than normal Ghorepani trail. Lodges & food are acceptable. 7/8 hours we need to walk.

Early morning we should go up to Mulde peak for sunrise view above the Mountains. Mulde peak (3600m) is one of the best view point in this trekking route. From here we can view Mt. Dhaulagiri (8153m), Annapurna South ( 7219m), Fishtail(6993m), Nilgiri, & more. Anyway from the Dobato to Mulde is just about 30 minutes. Then after the view should come back for breakfast to lodge and start to walk ahead your left way to Chistibang. Whole day shoulld walk in deep forest. The day isn’t for view. The trail to walk is aprox 5/6 hours.

Well this day isn’t long to walk. Just we need to walk aprox 3/4 hours to get Khopra Danda. This is also one of the best view point. This is just very clcose to west of Annapurna south. from here again we can see Mt. dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna south. There is only one community lodge. Accommodation & food is just basic. Even room shoulg make sure for evening.

Here the day is for your Option to Barahlake(4600m) or just come back down. Anyway if we do continue on to lake then it will be quite long day to go up to lake & back to lodge in same day. So if you keep going on then should prepare your pack lunch for the way. If is heavy snow then please don’t go up. View are normal. So for the view khopra danda is better than Barah lkae. If you skip the day then you can manage the day somewhere.

Well the day is just walk down to Swanta village. Here the lodge and food are much better than previous days. But the place isn’t for the views. Just spend your day with good food & hot shower.

Well here again one of the highlight place of the whole trip. So much crowed, but better food & lodges. Also fantastic views of mountains Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri & more. This day no need to walk very long. Just about 4/5 hours to get Ghorepani from Swanta.

Well early morning for sunrise view , we should go up to Poonhill (3210m). It’s about 50 minutes to an hour to get top. It’s so much crowded place. But views are as well incredible. Mt. Dhaulagiri (8153m), Annapurna I (8091m, just small top.), Annapurna south, fishtail, Nillgiri, and left Annapurna range are clear to view.Then after the views come down to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast huge way down to walk. Half way is in deep forest and half way in civilization.

Um ! the last day to walk. just walk about 2/3 hours to nayapul and take taxi to Pokhara. The left day in pokhara is up to you. You are free for your all. Accommodation & breakfast is with us.

Well all the road is same & will back to Kathmandu by similar standard tourist bus. Evening will farewell dinner with official staff for your feedback. Dinner will be fixed Nepalese meal with nepalese cultural dance performance.
